Erik Clarke
Erik Clarke has worked as a Chief Financial Officer and Executive Controller. Previously, he worked in management at large accounting firms, including Deloitte and Crowe, specializing in internal audit and financial advisory. He has experience managing audits of both public sector and private sector organizations.
Erik has managed financial and technology transformation projects, overseen financial analysis, and managed accounting operations, including at the executive level.
Erik directly managed dozens of audits, led hundreds of professional peer reviews of financial audits, and has overseen annual audit plans. Audit types Erik has managed have included, performance, construction, and cybersecurity. He also managed two corporate IPOs for financial technology companies, including developing SOX Readiness programs where he had a hand in indexing and designing over one-hundred financial controls.
Erik has a Masters of Public Administration and a Bachelors in Public Policy. He has also served on several boards, including the Institute of Management Accountants, the Denver March for Science, Catalyst Society of Mile High United Way, and was involved in the Next Generation Group supporting the Denver Health Foundation.
Erik lives in Denver, Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities, like hiking and kayaking. He's also an avid reader of nonfiction.
